Leading character artist Thalaivasal Vijay, who can do any kind of roles with ease and versatility has been signed for an important project in Malayalam.According to the actor, he will play the lead in Yugapurushan, a bio-pic on Sree Narayana Guru, the social reformer who broke the caste system in Kerala.
The press release says that Mammootty is doing a cameo as a friend of Narayana Guru, while Mohanlal is doing the role of Swami Vivekananda. The film will be directed by R Sukumaran.
Some of the other important characters like Gandhiji, Rabindranath Tagore, Kumaranasan, E.V Ramasamy Naicker, Ayyankali and other famous historical personalities will be played by actors like Sathyaraj, Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Babu Antony, Saiju Kurup, KPAC Lalitha, Sukumari and others.
