The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal conferred actress Sneha with the ’Excellence Star Award’ for her significant contribution to Indian Cinema. The club recognizes women achievers every year in their respective fields, and encourages many self-help groups, especially for women in education. Speaking at the award function on April 20th, the actress said that she was happy to receive this award and also congratulated The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal in undertaking various welfare activities, many of which are focused on women’s empowerment.
Others who received the award of recognition include: Elizabeth Verghese (eminent educationist), Anna Jacob (Head of Spartan Schools) and Vijayshree Kiron (entrepreneur). Sneha has been very different from other actresses and has experimented with a wide range of roles. She has received a lot of appreciation for her bubbly nature and her ability to connect with the audience.
