For the staunch disbeliever of remakes he is, Kamal has a secret wish about remakes too. Not any Bollywood or Hollywood hit movie, but Kamal wants to remake Vikram, one of the sci-fi / fantasy movies of eighties. The movie was a result of Kamal’s collaboration with the late talented sci-fi writer Sujatha. It starred Dimple Kapadia, Lizzie, and Ambika n the lead with hit songs and an interesting premise. With the technology having been improved by leaps and bounds, Vikram would make an exciting remake.Interesting, Kamal agreed to be cast in the only remake of his career ‘Vasool Raja’ since its original version Munnabhai has acquired a cult status and is adored by Indians all over.
