Thankar Bachchan is going to remake the super hit Malayalam movie Veruthe Oru Bharya, which featured Jayaram and Gopika in the lead. Thankar Bachchan is a great fan of Malayalam films of the late 70's and 80's when some of the most powerful stories came out.He had earlier remade Sreenivasan's Chinthavishatya Shyamala as Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy. Last week Thankar was in Kochi to negotiate with Salauddin and Akku Akbar, the producer and director of Veruthe Oru Bharya. Thankar wants to remake it in Tamil with Kishore and Priyanka.
