There was a time when S V Krishna Reddy was one of the most sought after directors for family entertainers but these days he has been keeping himself busy with TV ads for the Congress party. Here is one incident that came to light lately which has caused some interest for a few.It is heard that during the shooting of the film ‘Lethamanasulu’ SVK had asked the heroine of the film Gopika to do a scene on a bed with the hero Srikanth. Though there was nothing sleazy about it, Gopika is said to have turned it down and the entire location had to be changed to suit her convenience.
The film came way back in the year 2003-04 and folks were surprised to see that Gopika is said to have mentioned about this incident in a paper interview recently. While the idea for her was to project her sanctity according to sources, the timing seems a bit too delayed they added. In fact Gopika proves to be the only heroine who denied to a proposal of family director SV Krishna Reddy who is far away from obscenity or vulgarity.
