Tamanna Explains About Her '1st Break'

March 23rd, 2009

It’s the buzz word ‘break’ that turns the fate of any one in film industry. No one knows when that so-called break arrives and Tamannah got that when she was in her school at 13th year.

She says, “I studied in Maneckji Cooper School which happens to be the school that brought out beautiful artistes like Rani Mukherjee and Padmini Kolhapuri. My teacher suggested my name to Shahab Shamsi in a trivial meet and thus I got the chance to act in Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. Immediately I got Telugu and Tamil offers but I got real fame in Telugu with ‘Happy Days’ and in Tamil with ‘Padikkadavan’. That’s about my first break and eventual success. I was quite nervous in the beginning for making a mark in southern film industry. Now I’m happy and going ahead”.

“Now I’m eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Ananda Tandavam’. I’m concentrating equally on Tamil and Telugu films now”, she added and concluded.

Indeed, Tamanna is being called ‘milk beauty’ by young men and she pulls their hearts to theaters for sure.
