‘Jab We Met’ penned and directed by Imtiaz Ali won laurels in box office and sooner Moser Baer had obtained the DVD Rights. Witnessing the grand success, the film’s remake rights too were obtained by Dhananjayan of Moser Baer. Now, the film is remade in Tamil as ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ that was earlier titled as ‘Raja Rani’. Bharath does the role of Sakthi, a demoralized businessman who on a unplanned train journey meets Anjali (Thamannah), a bubbly cute looking girl with her outspoken character. Later, the journey turns their entire course of life with unexpected encounters of joys and pains.V.M.C. Lalitha produces the film while Jayam Kondan fame Kannan handles screenplay and direction. Pattukottai Prabhakaran pens dialogues while Vidhyasagar scores music to the lyrics penned by Yuga Bharathy, Na. Muthukumar. Kola Bhaskar is taking care of editing while P.G. Muthiah cranks the camera.
Johnson handles the public relation works for the film. The film’s shooting would start off on March 11 and most part would be pictured in Ooty and other places in Tamil Nadu.
