Kannada movie Minugu is female oriented movie, which deals with an actress' love life and the troubles she faces. Actress Pooja Gandhi is playing the lead role. A Jayavant, who has penned story as well as screenplay for the movie, is directing it. The movie is produced by Gajendra under the banner Arpitha.The first schedule of shooting has been done already in the beautiful locations like surrounding areas of Bangalore and Sakaleshpur. The 95% of the shooting is completed already and another five days' shooting will be done after completing the Diamond Jubilee celebration of Kannada Film Industry.
Sunilkumar Singh, who has directed several TV serials, has written the dialogues for the movie. Satish Kumar cranks the camera and Powerful Gopu scores music. Shrikant K Tot is the editor and Chalpati is art director while choreography is by Arvind.
Sunil Rao, Ajith Hande, Akshata, Umesh and Guru Hegde are in the main star cast.
