There have been reports that names of many prominent people have been missing from voters’ lists for unknown reasons. The concerned authorities seem to be giving various responses at various times. Kamal Haasan could not vote because his name was missing from the voter’s list.And he has been voting regularly for several years from the same polling booth.But by evening the Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu Naresh Gupta issued a statement of clarification saying Kamal’s name has not been deleted, it is just that it was in a polling booth different from the regular one.
Now what is the use of giving a clarification after the election is completed? The actor has not been able to vote, although he wanted to so and that is saddening! Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for Unnai Pol Oruvan in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao film city.
