The buzz doing the rounds these days is that after their lip-lock in Mallanna, Shriya Saran has been in constant touch with her co-actor Vikram over the phone and they chat for hours - so much so her phone bills are sky rocketing!
Denying these rumours, Shriya clarified that firstly, the scene is not really a ‘lip-lock’ and secondly, she wouldn’t want to talk about it. But the damsel had a lot to say about Vikram. “Oh! he’s a darling. It’s a pleasure to work with him. I always had 10 things that I could never do, but now he’s changed it to the 10 things I can do. He is my mentor,” she gushes.
The actress also spoke about Rajnikanth, whom she admires for the kind of human being he is. “Simplicity is his style and he’s a miracle,” says Shriya, who will also be seen in Deepa Mehta’s What’s Cooking, Stella?, in which she plays the role of a servant. She is in complete awe of Deepa and calls her an actor’s director. She’s amazed at the way Deepa can convince her actor to do any role, and give their best.
