Shaji Kailas, the busy Malayalam director, has made it clear that no journalist had the right to wreak havoc by deliberately playing up fake MMS-s. He was speaking at a press conference held recently in Chennai to celebrate the success of his Tamil film, ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’.An MMS clip, allegedly showing Shaji and actress Nayantara in compromising positions, "was available on the Internet as well as on the cell phones".
Shaji said that the MMS clip was a morphed one. If it was just a rumuor, he "would have forgotten and forgiven it", but he "cannot forgive someone who has done it with an ulterior motive".
