Recently, Suriya pulled off a very risky stunt for K.V. Anand’s Ayan, a risky scene that required him to fight with the baddies at the edge of a 600-feet gorge, K.V. Anand suggested the use of a body-double, but Suriya insisted and he carried out the stunt himself.Kanal Kannnan, the stunt choreographer for the movie, says this particular stunt scene involved too much risk but Suriya managed to pull it off with relevant ease just like a professional stuntman. Appreciating Suriya for his daredevilry, he added that the stunt has come out great and would prove a highlight of the film.
Starring Suriya and Tamannaah, Ayan is one of the most eagerly-awaited films of 2009. K.V. Anand introduces Akashdeep Sehgal (as the villain) in Ayan and promises his role will be as slick as Prithviraj’s role in Kana Kanden.
