We have seen top political dignitaries, business tycoons, travelling in chartered flights but actress Trisha joined this exclusive band recently. No, she neither has joined politics nor has she become a corporate honcho - rather she flew from Chennai to Vijayawada on a chartered flight to inaugurate a showroom in Vijayawada and flew back in the same aircraft. She was accompanied by her mother and manager on the 2 hour 40 minute trip for which the organisers emptied their pockets without blinking! Recession? Where?“She has been paid a bomb,” confirms a reliable source. However, her manager Giridhar denies and says the pay packet was ’reasonable’ though he admits that they did fly down for the event and it was the first time for Trisha. According to our sources, barring Vijayashanti, no other actress had enjoyed such a luxury Not even heroes! Taking a cue from it, we’re sure other popular heroines like Anushka, Charmme and Bhumika are likely to follow suit. Quite a possibility as proprietors looking for star appeal are willing to shell out big bucks. Celebrity endorsements come with a price tag. Right Trisha?
