The 2007 Jeevan starrer Naan Avan Illai directed by Selva was a big hit. It was a remake of the 1974 K.Balachandar film by the same name. Now director Jeeva cashing in on the success of the Jeevan starrer wants to make a sequel to it. The remake will also be directed by Selva, with Jeevan playing the lead. The heroines, Sneha, Malavika, Namitha, Keerthi Chwala and Jyothirmayi, however, may not be retained for the sequel. Naan Avan Illai will also be produced by the producer who produced the 2007-hit, Nemichand Jabak. The sequel is said to be set abroad and shooting of the film will begin in March.
