Ace director Mani Ratnam is now camping near Jhansi where some important scenes were shot by with Priyamani and Prithviraj. According to insiders, Priyamani's (who plays Vikram's sister in the film) role, though relatively small, is a crucial one in the movie.Sources from Jhansi said that an important scene was canned by Mani Ratnam recently. According to the scene, Priyamani is to get married to a person of her brother Vikram's choice and on the day of the wedding, when the groom ties the mangalsutra around her neck, she is shot by a police officer played by Prithviraj!
The Jhansi schedule of the film's shooting will be completed in a week, sources reveal. Music composed by AR Rahman, the film will be tri – lingual released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu worldwide.
