Unconfirmed rumours say Kamal Haasan’s Thalaivan Irukkiran will go on floors from February 25th. This film is reportely a remake of Bollywood blockbuster A Wednesday, with Kamal and Mohanlal reprising the roles of Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher respectively! It is also said that veteran actor Nasser will play a prominent part in this film!A while ago, when Kamal contacted UTV to buy the remake rights of A Wednesday, renowned Tollywood producer Kiran Koneru filed a case against UTV, claiming that he had already struck a deal with them! But UTV denied selling the remake rights to anyone. Apparently all these problems have been sorted out now.
Kamal Haasan has been very keen on remaking A Wednesday, an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Earlier, it was said that Thalaivan Irukkiran will be a fun movie! So it is quite surprising to hear that Thalaivan Irukkiran would be the remake of A Wednesday.
