As the Selvaraghavan film, ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ , dragged on for more than two years, the one to suffer most was Karthi, the hero of the critically acclaimed blockbuster, ‘Paruthiveeran’. He was not able to sign on any other film as he was bound by an agreement not to do any other film before completing the shoot for ‘Aayirathl…’.But, the younger brother of Suriya is not very bitter at his lost opportunities. In fact, he defends the director and the delay in the release of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. He says, “A film on the lines of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ could never have been made in any other part of the globe and as such, it is bound to take time. A special film needs special time, he sums it up.”
Meanwhile, he has already started work for his third film ‘Paiyaa’ directed by Lingusamy.
