"The shooting for myHindi film 'Striker' is over. It is releasing next month. Since I am fluent in Hindi, I am eager to act in Hindi films. It's said I'm paying more importance to Hindi and to becoming a commercial heroine. I am definitely a commercial heroine as none of the films I've acted in has given financial loss to the producers. It's wrong to say acting with top heroes makes you a commercially successful heroine. I will act in Tamil or Hindi films.
We have to express ourselves with good art films. We have to do song and dance in colorful masala films. Both are important genres for films. To confine yourself to one genre is wrong. I am working as associate director in every film I'm acting in. That does not mean I want to become a director. The eagerness to learn everything is what I like. I don't want to direct a film. I'm to act with Lawrence in a film," said Padmapriya.
