Shamli, younger sibling of actress Shalini, has agreed to act as the female lead in a Telugu film, it is learnt.A Telugu director, who spotted Shamli at a family function, has convinced her to act in his next film with an irresistible offer, it is reported.
The cute looking teenager was one of the most successful child artistes in Kollywood. Er most memorable performance was in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Anjali’. Director Perarasu had tried his best to cast her opposite Bharath in ‘Pazhani’ but Shamli refused the offer.
Her brother-in-law, ‘Ultimate Star’ Ajit Kumar, has reportedly advised her to simply follow what her instinct says.
