Tamanna, who did just a couple of films in Tamil (Kedi, Kalloori) before moving on to Telugu films, has now bounced back to become the next hot actress after Nayantara and Trisha. After getting rave reviews for her performance in Happy Days (Telugu), she sizzled in Kalidasu (Telugu). Now, she is busy with several films with some of the hottest stars in Tollywood.In Kollywood too, Tamanna has been flooded with offers. Apart from Ayan with Suriya, she has signed Padikathavan opposite Dhanush, Aananda Thaandavam (also referred to as Ananda Thandavam) opposite debutant Siddharth, Raja Rani opposite Bharath and of course Paiya (also referred to as Paiyya), which is in the news because Nayantara walked out the film for various reasons.
A versatile actress, Tamanna’s ambition is to work with Gautham Menon, currently one of the most talented filmmakers of Tamil Cinema. With all these film offers, the pretty heroine is busy well into late 2009. The latest buzz is that Tamanna has hiked up her remuneration to about Rs. 60-70 lakhs (a cool six to seven millions).
