The Nayantara-Lingusamy spat continues. Lingusamy has filed a complaint at the Producers Association that she is refusing to return the advance given to her.Linguasmy is directing 'Paiya' for which the fee for Nayantara was fixed at 1.25 crores and Rs.25 lakhs was given to her as advance.The shooting was to have started in October. Karthi is acting in 'Aayirathil Oruvan.'Since the shooting for that film was not yet complete, shooting of 'Paiya' got post poned. Nayantara said her call sheet was wasted and she had no interest in acting in 'Paiya.' In her place, Tamanna was signed on. Since she opted out of the film, Lingusamy asked her to return the advance. It's understood that Nayantara said her call sheet had been wasted, so she would not return the money. So Lingusamy filed a complaint against her at the Tamilnadu Producers Association.
It's said that according to the decision taken by the Producers Association, either Nayantara should return the advance amount or should act in the film. Since she refused to return the advance, or act in 'Paiya,' it's said there could be a ban on Nayantara being by signed on in other language films
