Though they may not dance a duet in a film, Dhanush and Aishwarya have sung a duet song together.'Aayirathil Oruvan' starring Karthi, Andrea and Reema Sen is directed by Selvaraghavan. Lyrics are by Vairamuthu and music by GV Prakash Kumar.

Karthi and Reema Sen dance to this duet. Selvaraghavan thought some new voices would enhance the song and he thought of Dhanush and Aishwarya. Dhanush could hardly refuse his elder brother, so the song has been recorded. Aishwarya has sung in 'Whistle' and Dhanush in 'Pudukottai.' But this is the first time the star couple have recorded a duet together. Aishwarya may not act together with her husband, but she has at least sung together with him!
