The homely Bengali babe Kamalini Mukherjee is a talented actress. She made a mark with films like Anand and Godavari. The girl looked every bit a Telugu girl in Godavari. Kamalini also acted in films like Gamyam and did a guest role in Happy Days. Kamalini is quite different form other heroines. She is not in the glamour race and also is not game for exposing. This is one reason why she is having only very few assignments in hand.Kamalini like every one else has a dream. The dream is to turn director one day. Kamalini has begun work in this direction in right earnest. She is now readying a story and will also pen the screenplay and dialogues. Kamalini will direct the film not now or in the near future but after about 20 years!
