Hot Telugu actress Anushka is returning to Tamil with a bang. She is going to act opposite Karthi of Paruthi Veeran fame in Chiruthai.Chiruthai will be the remake of the Telugu hit Vikramarkudu. Anushka had earlier played the heroine in the Telugu version too. VV Kathir who directed the recent hit Thenavettu will direct the film. Studio Green, the production company owned by Actor Sivakumar's nephew will produce the film.
Anushka had made her debut in Sundar C's hit film Rendu. But the film had failed to fetch her good offers in Tamil.
In the mean time she got comfortably settled in Telugu and completed her innings successfully. Now she has shifted her focus to Tamil.
Karthi will join this project after he completes Lingusamy's Paiya.
