The beautiful actress quit acting once she got married to director Selvaraghavan, her director in the above mentioned films.A dutiful wife, Sonia accompanied Selvaraghavan to the film sets regularly and being a fast learner is, she quickly learnt much about film direction. Soon, she was seen assisting him in direction. Now, the buzz is that she might try her hand at direction in the near future. She might start with the small screen, but before that, she would like to warm up by acting in some serials!
It is heard that three popular satellite channels are eagerly bidding to include her in their soaps.
