Anandapurathu Veedu is Shankar's S Pictures' next venture. Directed by Naaga of the television sitcom Marmadesam fame, the movie has Nanda and Chaaya Singh in the lead. Chaaya plays a claustrophobic girl in the movie, the first schedule of which was shot in Cochin recently. Songs and scenes involving Nanda and Chaaya were shot during the first leg schedules in Cochin. Second schedule is proposed to start from February 2009.Shankar has reportedly viewed the rushes and has given his vote of confidence to director Naaga. Anandapurathu Veedu is Naaga's debut directorial venture, who is synonymous with some great thriller sitcoms of the nineties' television.
